What are the CrossFit Games?

“In implementation, this looks like sport. This is revolutionary. It's as distinctive of the program as are the movements and the charter of functionality and variance. Our workouts are competitive events.

The strength and value of CrossFit lies entirely within our dominance of other athletes. This is a truth divined through competition, not debate.”

"Behind every great man is a great woman." The awesome Jamie V., soon to be Mrs. Tony Budding, is the source for many of the great photos we get to enjoy on the CrossFit site.

In the video, we get to see Jason Khalipa knock out a blistering 500M on the C2 rower. Not a PR, but then, it was his third workout of the day.

Seems like he's taking keeping his title seriously!

Jason,

You're a beast. It was a pleasure watching you eat that rower up.

see you soon!

Jason is such a beast. Crappy ass rower form and he still pulls a 1:20! At 5'9" that just blows me away.

I wish you all could meet Khalipa in person and spend some time with him. He is truly a down to earth and humble dude.

Want to see Jason's first posted time ever at a Crossfit box?

That's right, in December of 2006, the 2008 Crossfit Games Champion did Fran with jumping pull-ups. Hell, he got bested by his coach Austin, who took 13th place this year and also did jumping pull-ups back then. How far these two have come in 19 months just proves how well the system works.

Jason,

I've had the pleasure over the last few years to see how hard you work when you want something. I have no doubt you're going to do great with your new box. You are an inpsiring champion.

"Maybe tomorrow" after a 1:20.8 is so Khalipa.

Move fast and breathe slow bro.

Freddy,

You done good at da games too!

congrats bro!

And yes I agree, Khalipa is a pretty down to earth cat.. especially considering he is only 22... he could become a 1 man dynasty if he keeps it up...
I would hate for people to see how I compared to Khalipa at 22 ... LOL

The worst part about that row is how he immediately wants to do it again tomorrow. I hit a 500m and never want to do it again!

Awesome work Jason!
