Saturday Morning OPT Interview
In a CrossFit Movie Outtake, Sevan interviews James Fitzgerald (OPT) on Saturday morning (July 5, 2008) before the events launched. He talks about being responsible for his performance: Only he can determine how well he does.
And, at the same time, he speculates at how happy Josh Everett must be to have all three events in the 3min time domain, his strongest arena.

That's funny because when I saw the format i was regretting having signed up for the games. I generally do 4 met-con workouts over the space of 14 days... i wanted to die when i saw there would be 4 in 24 hours!
by saturday morning i had done the math in my head & I thought I'd be 90 seconds behind either Speal or OPT. I was praying for something heavy on Sunday that would give me a chance to catch whoever was ahead of me... nobody warned me about Khalipa!
A gentleman and a scholar, that Mr. OPT.
Well said OPT!
OPT, good interview, you summed it up well.
Josh, I see that you post on here regularly. I just wanted to say that you were ridiculous in King Kong, seriously that was insane!!! I tried it but didn't do nearly as well as you. Thought I would just let you know how much of a bad ass you are to be able to complete such heavy loads while also being able to do muscle ups and hspu's!
I was deeply impressed by the fact that Jason posted his King Kong video. While Josh made it look easy, Jason fought through the cleans. His humility is, in my view, the mark of a true champion.
