What are the CrossFit Games?

“In implementation, this looks like sport. This is revolutionary. It's as distinctive of the program as are the movements and the charter of functionality and variance. Our workouts are competitive events.

The strength and value of CrossFit lies entirely within our dominance of other athletes. This is a truth divined through competition, not debate.”

This is an aerial photo of the 2008 Games, taken on Sunday morning, during the early heats of the clean & jerk workout. The run course looks flatter and easier from this angle.

In a CrossFit Movie outtake, Sevan continues his fascination with John Welbourn's clothing tastes... [wmv] [mov]

I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds that men's clothing is made for little girls these days... There's a serious problem when XXXL sweatshirts don't fit a 230 lb guy.

Funny, I thought from the title of this clip and the associated picture that there would be an arrow pointing out where Welbourn was standing.

The boy is big!!

hahah, good for a laugh

By Blair Lowe on November 16, 2008 7:04 PM

By Ben on November 16, 2008 7:10 PM

Hi Ben,

We are on it, around the clock. Very soon. Glad to hear that you are excited. We are excited to share!

Yeah Welbourn is pretty funny, but he smells like sh*t.

By sevan on November 16, 2008 11:58 PM

I'm with you on that Greg.. every pair of jeans is super tight around the butt and legs, and loose around the waist. I guess why not appeal to 80%+ of America.

Sevan, are you announcing the release when you beat Caity in Man-Grace? aka never.

By Shane McGrotty on November 17, 2008 8:08 AM

Ben - Sevan has issues with jealousy and hero worship. Anytime someone says anything positive about his heroes he has mixed feelings. He enjoys the compliments but he must also say something negative to hide his admiration. We know Sevan is an angry little man...maybe one day when he wins a workout or even starts to CrossFit for that matter, his self esteem will rise and we wont be subject to his anger.

The run course is the inner loop right?

By bryce on November 17, 2008 1:20 PM

Sevan & Welbourn- thanks alot for the reply! You guys both kill me! Good luck with the finishing product Sevan. John your a beast! Good Luck with your training and the rest of the season!

By Ben on November 17, 2008 5:22 PM

yes the run is the inner loop... and the outer loop.

By Pat Barber on November 17, 2008 5:45 PM

I almost died laughing! Sevan you are the best interviewer!

By Melissa Mack on November 18, 2008 6:33 PM

Damnit that is a hilarious vid. Get the movie out, Sevan! I'll go door to door selling it...
