What are the CrossFit Games?

“In implementation, this looks like sport. This is revolutionary. It's as distinctive of the program as are the movements and the charter of functionality and variance. Our workouts are competitive events.

The strength and value of CrossFit lies entirely within our dominance of other athletes. This is a truth divined through competition, not debate.”

Hey !

I am really interested in participating in the Crossfit Games... Eventually.

In order to achieve this goal of mine, I would like to get boxscores of the exercises (i.e.: Run, Deadlifts, Shoulder Presses, etc.) performed by the top 20 or so women at the 2007 Crossfit Games. Are those numbers available for viewing?

It would give me a general and better idea of where I need to be to win or at least be competitive!

Hope to hear from you guys soon and thank you in advance for your help,

It looks like the 2007 games were:

Shoulder Press

What were the required distances and reps.

Was deadlift and shoulder press 1rm?

Are the 2008 games going to be the same?

Here's what I think happened:

There was a hopper workout:

1000 meter row followed immediately by

5 rounds for time:

25 pullups
7 push jerk (135lbs men/115 women I would guess, but not sure)

And I think a cutoff time too.

There was a Crossfit total: Best 1 rm, and I think the standard 3 attempts.

And a trail run (not sure of the distance, but the winners did it in 22-23 minutes so I doubt it was super long. I'm guessing with the hills somewhere about 2-3 miles.

At least that's what I understand and think I've figured out. Correct away if I'm wrong.
