What are the CrossFit Games?

“In implementation, this looks like sport. This is revolutionary. It's as distinctive of the program as are the movements and the charter of functionality and variance. Our workouts are competitive events.

The strength and value of CrossFit lies entirely within our dominance of other athletes. This is a truth divined through competition, not debate.”

Adam:

Matt Chan -
Male, 30, 5'10", 195# BW

Stats from Logs it All

Grace: 1 min 48.0 secs (6/23/2008)
Fran: 2 mins 50 secs (3/8/2008)
CrossFit Total: 1000(5/27/2008)

Plus he trains at elevation with CF Front Range, so I'll speculate he's got a pretty good sized gas tank.

That is one dangerous man, then again they all are, but wowie wewaw.

Gillian Mounsey is gonna be very tough to beat. I bet she will have top time in both fran and dl/burpee. If she has a decent run its a wrap.

Speal's my pick. I think this is probably the hardest event for him given the >200% bodyweight DL's & he killed it. He's gonna be tough to beat.

Becca's my pick for the women. Looking good! Nice work.

P.S. GO VCF!!! Go Becca Voight!!

Adam -

Looks dangerous for sure!

BUT, look at the crazy lead Jeff Tincher took on the thruster/pull-up WOD. Beat the next closest time (OPT no less) by 20s almost, that's a significant difference than the deadlift/burpee leader.

Anywho I'm excited to find out tomorrow's WOD and how much a lead will make the difference.

MOMA is watching great job . The family is so proud of you.Love your mom ,dad and sister Whatever a thruster is YOU did it...and did it great ...........

Spealer has to be from another planet. The guy did 25 double bodyweight deadlifts in 2.5 minutes with some burpees thrown in between. Incredible.
